DC's Buyer Agent Extraordinaire
John has dedicated much of his time in real estate to perfecting the home buying process. Partnering on a national level, John has created a network of Buyer Agents and has become an influencer in the space. Whether it’s releasing videos and podcasts, or conducting in-person seminars and one-on-one consultations, he has focused on improving the process for both his clients and the general public as a one-stop-shop in real estate education.
John progressed early in his career, quickly becoming a leader in the DC market, and has been recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the “Best of” since it’s inception in 2015. He’s also including in Washingtonian's “One of the 99 People you Want on Your Side.” In 2018, he was honored as one of the “Rising Stars” in the industry, and often presents on panels to other agents on the best practices for educating buyers and using social media to widen your presence.
When not doing real estate - which is rare - you can find John hanging out with his amazing wife, Julia, and venturing around the city with his lovable pup, Lola.

With a growing family and work from home needs, we left our wonderful brick house in Brookland for a larger house the suburbs. We heard great things about John Coleman from a friend, so we reached out for both the sale and purchase. He's easily one of the best professionals we've worked with in DC. We used their people every step of the way and were glad we did. I can't say that all sellers left 2022 happy, but having worked with John and Jason Martin Group, we certainly did.
